Sadly I can't play the game.
I've not really had issues with photo-sensitivity to this degree before this last year or two.
If I had this issue back when the Kickstarter launched. Maybe I would have thought twice about backing it but at the same time, how would I be able to guess just from the Kickstater alone.

I noticed a line of text in a loading screen mentioning that the game wouldn't be suitable with those photo-sensitivity problems. I'm not quoting it exactly but anyway I suppose this is the risk of backing games on Kickstarter. Hopefully there's some way to gift already owned/played Steam games in the future because it'd be nice to see someone be able to play this.

It's quite tragic really but this past year has been terrible anyway so it doesn't hurt as much as it should. I haven't been able to buy new games due to covid destroying my job/income so this was a stroke of luck when it finally released but alas it was not meant to be.

Anyway, good luck to the team and I'll be back if there's any updates that might make the game more playable for me.

Have you tried to tick the CRT Soft Filter on the Video-Options menu? It will reduce the CRT and glow effects.

Yea that didn't really help. I could tell a difference but I still felt like hell.

Totally agreed. I don't even have issues with flashing lights, but even I felt nauseous and had a headache after playing this game for 20 minutes. Even with the CRT filter on it was still very unpleasant to play.
