Runs great on Steam Deck
This is the perfect game for the Steam Deck. It looks amazing, and can easily run at 60fps. Best of all it doesn't use a lot of battery.

If you want, you can limit the fps at 40 which will give you 5 to 6 hours of battery life, but even at 60 you'll get over 4 hours easily.

Control scheme is perfect, this was made to work with the Xbox controller so the Steam deck is pretty much the same.

Also, there is an option to scale up the UI which will make it perfect for the deck.

I've no idea why this isn't verified on the deck yet because in my opinion it should be.

If you're unsure about getting this, try out the demo. Full game is well worth the money for me, a true hidden gem among indie games!

The demo code is from the original early access version from 2 years ago (or close after) and is missing a lot of improvements including that one.

That really should be updated. :) But If that's the only thing holding you back you could try it and just make sure to stay under two hours in case it's still too small for your screen.

great to see the large hud UI option definitely makes it much more playable on the steamdeck ... Id kind of given up on it before, as the text was way too small.

for some reason, it appears saves are not sync to steam? so my previous save/progress is gone.. so i just did a quick test flight from orbit to ground and looked good.

however, Id need to do a few missions to see if everything thats required has been scaled.
e.g. I remember before, things like the space station details were tiny too... which made plotting courses very difficult.

btw: i do wonder if the 3rd person view could have a few more (hud like) details on it,
perhaps this might be easier to have scaled text on, as you don't have to squeeze it in to the crafts HUD panel... or perhaps a way to 'fullscreen' the space station intercept panel.

but overall, Im really happy to see dev as done a bit of work in this area, as it really is a great game to play on the steam deck, the small text really was the only thing holding it back :)
+1 should be Steam Deck verified definitely
