Dual stick HOTAS?
Is it possible to play this sim with dual stick for a HOTAS?
I played ED with 2 sticks and it was incredibly intuitive for me (with flight assists off, of course). That was a while ago and since then I sold my sticks, because I had to move. Now I am considering a second pair and maybe a throttle module. So would it work to have 2 sticks plugged and a throttle unit or I wont be able to bind them?

I played the game last year with 2 16000m and peddals.
So yes it was possible to set up.
But i cannot remember if I used both as one virtual stick or one as virtual and the other as normal direct x Joystick.

You mean it might need 3rd party software to convert them in to a single virtual controller together? It's still a workable solution I guess. Thanks!

I used the target software which is normaly used to program and setup the logitechhardware.
But if you are using other hardware that could be in some games be a solution.
I never had problems to use 2 Joysticks in a game if the game supports Joysticks.
The only problem, I know about is that a direct x joystick only supports 32 directx buttons, that could be allways a problem, which you can solve by binding to Keyboardkeys if you are using a 3rd party software. So you would have 32 direct x buttons + Keyboardkeys on your virtual Joystick.
