A skald is the old norse word for poet - which could be a class, I guess. :P

I'd just buy the game and find out what the Black Priory is. Game's great.

Nah Skald is a class that didn't make it into the game, kind of a bard. I think the title sort of suggests the story was meant to be told by one.

The RPG class is named after the old Norse word for poet. Given that this is a Nordic company making a Dnd-style RPG, I guess the name could be from either or both, though I think I'd lean toward the older of the two. Did they say they cut classes somewhere?

Religion is about love so why does the title say against black priory? I would like to know before i play. Does it mean a bad priory like something from hell? Don't get me wrong the combat system looks good and the graphics are nice. I guess I am asking what is a "black"
priory? It worries me that it might not be my kind of game. If someone has finished the game could you tell me a little more about the story behind it without giving up to much of the plot?

Your asking if this game has demons?
The game has a Lovecraftian vibe.
Meaning cosmic unexplained horrors beyond our understanding driving people to madness.
Black priory can simply mean that there is a group of people that worship these horrors.
Which is usually the way it goes in lovecraftian stories.

Not sure if this is spoilers btw don't own the game yet and my deductions could be wrong.
