How do you dig up the Mole Burrows?

Hey, I am kinda stuck at the quest were I need to dig out the Mole Burrows. I got the shovel but when I dig near the Burrows it just says that I found nothing. I can not walk over a Mole Burrow since this is not a walkable tile. There is also no interaction possible with the burrows. What am I doing wrong?

Update: It was night when I tried to do the quest. Apparently in the darkness it is too hard to spot them, so when I tried it at daytime I did spot the Burrows and could dig them out!

Been stuck on this, thanks for the update. Awesome game but seriously big ♥♥♥♥ you for having me run around wondering why I cant dig out the furrows when it turns out.... its too dark?. How about a little hint.

That is strange. I also figured that equiping a lantern does the trick (you will need this later on!). I kinda can't imagine that you have to little awareness on you character, the check shouldn't be that hard.
