You can sell the evil dagger was well but I prefer to give to Kat for the melee backstabs
I played the whole game and there's nothing to be gained by holding onto the tablets for future acts.
The tablets provide way either to sell for some money or make finishing the Horryn reaver clearing quest much easier.
Wait the seal too? The way it sounded when I got it was that it was super important to return to the guild. Like important enough for Kat to possibly be pissed and leave the party over important. Seems pretty odd to me that selling it is all that it is good for.
Once you get to the ending it makes a lot more sense why it doesn't matter. There's not a lot interactivity between what you learn and what the game is able to support, also.
