Black Priory - Statues?
How did you solve the puzzle with the rotating statues? I'm very sure it has to do something with the pictures, but for the life of me I can't figure out which way they're pointing / looking for some reason.

Okay, I solved it with trial by error but looking at the statues and the according pictures on the wall I really don't understand how the logic behind the puzzle is supposed to work. I'd be grateful for any insight so I don't have to die dumb, lmao.

Stumped on this as well, that's my other cheesy CRPG level design trope along with a sewer maze level.

So, could you write what is the required combination? If there is no logical solution, it would save others time...

There is a note you can find that says the statues should face the way of a clock passing time, or something similar, so I made all of the statues face the direction that time would go in that position on a clock.

Statue puzzle: The pictures on the wall are red herrings. The solution is simple if you discount those; The statues point to each other, working clockwise, they form a square.

Sewer maze: You can get a map for the maze by doing the sewermans quest. Though its not a complex layout and by the time I did the quest I'd already figured out the place.

Lexi, thanks, that worked!

matt, I really tried to understand what you wrote, and can't make any sense out of it...

There's a note in the same area as the statues that mentions passing time or a clock to unlock the way forward, or something similar -- dont remember the exact details of the note. But the end result is as Lexi said, you make the 4 statues face each other in clockwise order. For example, the top right statue faces down towards the bottom right statue, because that's the way time would flow on a clock.

Matt is right, the pictures aren't clues at all. I looked at the statues again and you have to make them point in the direction a clock is ticking.

How many statues do you have to find?

I only found 3, is there a 4th statue somewhere?

There's 4, the one you're missing is probably the one at the side of the bunk beds.

Got it thanks !

The the puzzle breakdown point the statues at each other start with NE being the starting one

NE -> Point South
SE -> Point West
SW -> Point North
NW -> Point East (Points east to the starting statue NE)

You should get a on screen text pop up once the combination is set the right way.

Oh, the pictures of statues have nothing to do with the statue puzzle? So it's just trolling the players to frustrate them??? :steamfacepalm:

I found the clue and got about the clock or rising in the east / setting in the west, but it still bears no relationship to the solution. Like a clock doesn't point in a direction based on it's position. Why is the NE points south? That would mean 6pm to me.
