Dealing with disease
I'm kind of at a loss on how to deal with diseased characters in the first 10 hours of the game. They get diseased so easily, and the only cures I've found so far are a few limited 100 gold potions or paying the healer in the camp like 250 gold.

It seems extremely expensive to have to heal these characters who contract it constantly. Is there a cheaper way to deal with this that I haven't found yet?

I think a character that has learned level two body magic can cure light and moderate disease. If you did not hire a mercenary that has body magic specialization, you get the chance to hire a character that has the body magic specialization when you advance the story a little further.

There's a cure moderate disease spell that requires body magic tier 2. Other than that I don't know.

get cleric class, get tier 2 body, problem solved. there are also afew cure disease potions lying around or available for purchase

Their is a "cleric" style companion in the refugee camp you can pick up for free.

You can craft cure disease potions at an alchemist table

You should do well if you get a cleric within first 5 to 9 Hours or so of the Game.
Like said above, theres the Tier2 spell as well as the potions.Didnt pay the healer for my chars getting deseased. You also find an Amulet somewhere that makes a char immune to it.And theres crafting of course.

Awesome, didn't know that body 2 had a cure. I've been saving points on my cleric so I'll get that now

I got the recipe early on from the refugee camp to make cure disease pots, but since I started the game as a paladin (champion) and I raced to get body magic since I knew from my time with might and magic that heals were there, I had the spell to cure it before I even got out of the first area.

Disease only really matters at the point when you first get it. Stops mattering mid game. There are enough ways to cure it.
