Rescue Natia quest
seems like the only way to do this quest is to have +5 in diplomacy, or anyone could find a solution?

I'm looking too, cant find one so I think theres no way around it.

Thing thats killing me is I have a char that has +5 with a magic item but it seems to autoswitch to my main char for the dialogue (I had set up each party member as having a purpose, so another char is diplomacy) and my main character has +4 with the magic item. I'm actually thinking of using the console just for this event cuz I absolutely hate "auto fail quests because the main char is missing a stat, even though someone else has it" events.

When that skillcheck box pops up, you can change the character taking the check by pressing Q or selecting them in the right menu.

Unfortunately that doesnt work. Its not a regular skill check like climbing, picking, forcing or whatever. Its in an actual dialogue part. Clicking on the character portrait or pressing q doesnt work. I even tried switching to the diplomacy character beforehand, and it snaps the active char to my main char right as the dialogue starts.

OP: I *think* after repeatedly reloading and playing around with various dialogue trees, if you follow a certain dialogue tree she doesnt get killed right there, but Im not sure.

EDIT: Nope, you fail. It looks like the only way is to have your MC pass diplomacy +5 or use the console.

I literally could do it though without my main having any diplo.

How did you manage to do that?

Press option that says "Diplomacy 5+", grey box pops up, select character that has 5+ dip, win. As I said above.

F***k yes, it is possible to select another char on the right when the box with the text "static test" pops up. Thanks!

Holy cow! It's really unintuitive that you can switch characters only *after* the check dialog comes up! That should be better called out; it didn't even occur to me to try it. Would have been useful with those damn goats, too!
I've tried around and did not get a Diplomacy check. How do I even get there?
Where is this? At the first encounter with the Reavers? I failed the mission but I dont remember a diplo check. I also think I failed it because I left the city by mistake.

I'm actually dumb. I found the check by asking "What now?" Anything else results in her death.
