It should capture after 2 seconds, supposed to revert to a legacy capture method as OBS doesn't support our new one.
I assume it stays white consistently?
it also makes no difference if I start OVR with admin rights or without, if I set the compatibility mode to Windows 8 or something. I use OBs as an overlay, because you have everything at a glance (follows, chat, donations and so on in one Window), but it's not the end of the world because of it :D. Maybe it is possible with next updates that it is captureable again.
That's really strange!
Just to check, other applications can be captured correctly right? It's just OBS?
For example you can capture Discord, Steam, Chrome, etc.
If you could, please let me know your Windows version!
Right click on the Start menu button click and click 'System'.
You should see 'Edition' such as 'Windows 11 Pro',
and 'Version' such as '22H2'. (In the past this was numbered like 1904, 2004, etc.)
If you're on a version of Windows earlier than mid 2019 Windows 10 OVR Toolkit is supposed to fall back to an older API really in situations like that. :o
It's actually quite logical, but you have to come up with it first. I had hidden this because of this mirror effect that you get in OBS when you capture your Desktop as Example.
On the desktop it does not matter because there Obs does not disappear when you check Hide obs recording from screen recording, but in the toolkit it is not recognized because it is hidden. But maybe also good for you to know if someone has the "Problem" again.
in any case thanks for your help
I had no idea this was an option! Makes sense!
Thanks for the update. :)
