"Failed to connect to SteamVR" error
Hello,

I can't get this working and get a "Failed to connect to SteamVR error. Here are some of my details:
-using Oculus Quest
-Using Windows 10
-Running as administrator
-Launching from SteamVR

-I see no overlay watch information

Any help on this would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi there!

Where do you see this 'Failed to connect to SteamVR' error? In the log file?

Ensure your administrator user is the same one you're logged into also! OVR Toolkit cannot communicate with SteamVR if it's running on a different user to it. (Maybe run Steam as admin too if that's the case for you?)

I see the error, titled: "OVR Toolkit Settings" on the Windows 10 window that pops up upon launching from SteamVR.

Although I only have one user on this computer, I did try to right click on SteamVR and choose run as administrator. It did not fix the error.

If you don't want to join the Discord, can you upload your log file to maybe Google Drive or something instead?

Log files are found here:
%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Curtis English\OVR Toolkit\
(Paste that into your Start menu)

It's much easier to post these in Discord if you use it. :)
