Cannot control Spotify on the wristband

When I play Spotify in the background whilst playing a game (Eleven Table Tennis), I can see the Spotify section with Artist and Song on the wristband. However, the back, forward and pause controls do not respond at all. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I'm not entirely sure why it didn't work straight away...... However, the keys work fine now. Thanks for you assistance.

I believe the setting within Spotify - "Show desktop overlay when using media keys" in the "Display Options" section was the problem and turning that feature off, resolved the issue.

For anyone else trying this solution, I would recommend restarting Spotify and OVR Toolkit before testing.

Hi there!

These buttons simply emulate pressing the media keys on your keyboard, can you check if they are working as intended? (Media keys are used so the buttons support all music players)

I've noticed some people have their media keys not working. I'm not sure of the reason behind that just yet!

Hi CurtisVL,

I have just tried pressing the relevant media keys on my keyboard whilst within SteamVR and Spotify plays, forwards and rewinds with no problem at all. However, I am still unable to get the keys on the wristband to respond.

That's strange!

Can you confirm input on the wrist overlay is working correctly?

Do this by minimizing the Edit Mode main menu (arrow in the top right of it) then seeing if you can click the 'Maximise' button on the wrist that should appear above the media controls!
