I was wondering if this program has any functionality for transparent images

Hi, not too sure what you're asking about here?

You can set transparency in images. Say you wanted to put a red dot on your screen, you would need everything around it to be transparent. It would be even better if it had a chromakey function. These are the 2 things Im looking for. I know ovrdrop has chomakey i was trying to see if this had it as well, or something similar.

We currently don't have any chroma-keying, but that could be added quite easily I think!

I'll make a note of that, though it'll likely release along with the new UI overhaul update that's in the works. This means it'll likely be about 2 weeks away, sorry! :(

That's fine, in no rush. Wanted to experiment with chroma keying a 3D ue4 motion tracked environment with meshes in it to drop in any vr game

Hello there. I was wondering if there is already an option to chroma-key a window. I would like to have my twitch alerts right infront of me when they pop up. I haven't found the option in the software. All I found is some sort of plugin on Github wich I don't know how to install...

That's a Custom App, refer to our wiki for how to install them for debugging. Finished versions are visible on the Workshop. :)

Thank you for the fast response. I spent the last two hours trying to get it to work.

Now, create a file named: customAppDebug.txt

Inside this file place the URL for the entry point of your custom app. This will appear on the phone-like UI in OVR Toolkit.

I guess the entry point for this App should be the index.html? Sadly there hasn't appeared anything on the UI.

To access this app for debugging, there will now be a gear icon in the bottom right of the Home page. Good luck! :)

The gear icon appeared and it loaded the index.html when I pressed it. I could write my link (btw when using the onscreen keyboard the OVR window closes so I can't see what I have already written and I can't use ctrl+v with the ovr keyboard.) But after I wrote my link and pressed "connect" it just opened a black page inside the UI.

I know this is not your code and you should not be supporting it. I just wanted to state my experience and express my wish for a native chroma-key option :cozyspaceengineersc:

Oh right, I see how they've implemented that.

Just maximise the menu again with the keyboard open via the up arrow on the time/date overlay on your wrist.

Also, I'd like to support it native but right now it's not really possible for capturing windows, only for web pages through custom apps. :)

Someone is creating a proper Streamlabs integration though, this will include transparent alerts, chat, etc.
