If you're using an Oculus headset, be sure the game is running in OpenVR/SteamVR mode not directly to the Rift/Quest through Oculus Runtime!

I'm using the odessey + I can't get it to function at all with prep3rd or X-plane

What happens when you're in those games? Do you still see the overlay on your left wrist that shows the time and date?

The screen goes black when I first start it then when I give it permission and return to the headset there is nothing there at all

Hi there!

Make sure you aren't giving it different admin credentials to the account you're running SteamVR on. If your current user account isn't an admin account, you need to run Steam as admin too.

When in VR, make sure the SteamVR Dashboard is closed, it will block access to OVR Toolkit. :)

How do you restore the OVR Toolkit edit mode window after clicking the little arrow? I've hit this by mistake have been unable to get it back without a full restart of the toolkit.

There should be a button that appears on your wrist overlay to maximize it. :)

Is there any way to have certain objects like your hands render infront of a display. I like to watch TV while playing SPT and was going to put the display just infront of the 3d map in the center however it is very disconcerting to have my hands disappear behind the screen whenever they pass over it as it ruins the perspective.

Hi there!

Unfortunately this is a limitation with SteamVR, overlays are rendered directly to the compositor, thus they render on top of and don't know about the game geometry!

I think you get used to this over time, but it would be great if SteamVR could somehow support this some day, but I'm not sure it's really possible I'm afraid. You'd need SteamVR to probe games for their geometry data and I don't see them bothering with that anytime soon. :)

Ok, so my brain is on overdrive right now and wants to watch something die with how much anger is building up inside me.

I NEED TO KNOW: HOW DO I FIX MY HAND ON MY OCULUS RIFT S FOR VRCHAT.

My left pointer finger will NOT work AT ALL, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and much more, almost to the point where I might be left with deleting my account.

And I'm not using it for anything in VR chat really anymore, I just want to be able to USE MY LEFT HAND NORMALLY.

And this Didn't happen UNTIL I installed OVR so I came here for help first.
