Have I had any suspicions?
Yeah seen some weird laptimes then the driver disappears.
Having said that I have had a timing glitch caused by forgetting I'd overclocked my Motherboards base clock for a benchmarking session and didn't reset it.
It meant if I joined a session for the 1st 5-6 minutes all cars would appear to run off track and there was hideous stuttering. It'd settle down after that.
If I went out and set a lap before this stabilised then I'd get a timing glitch in sector 1, around 3 seconds faster than is possible.
As soon as it WAS stable? The laptime glitch disappeared.
Lasted about 2 days cause I was thinking my PC was about to croak!
Then when I realised the cause.....
And FYI this didn't cause race pace improvements it'd just screw up qualifying.
Back to cheating in AMS2? It's definitely possible, way I look at it is they're only cheating themselves.
Been accused myself many times, both in AMS2 and other games, hell one nugget called me a "No skill setup hacker" on my profile just last week cause he blamed me for using a car setup in a public lobby whilst he was using default only then raging at all of us that beat him on track and calling us cheaters for tuning the cars... WTH?!?!?!?!
Someone beat me to the obvious "Why are you in a lobby with tuning allowed then?" comment..
Have I EVER used a cheat? once in a single player game which was immediately ruined as it was no longer a challenge... It was instantly boring in the extreme...
I don't see the point in cheating, 30+ years of racing in games and I've invariably found that, the most fun is ALWAYS those battles with an equally skilled opponent, where you're pushing each other to the limits and beyond.
All because you BOTH know it's been earned the hard way...

Winning or losing matters, but having a battle all the way makes it more interesting, Cheating denies you that entire experience....
You won a race but at what price in the long run?
I'd rather keep my self respect and fight a fair fight...
sims are always faster than reallife, you cannot compare that.
You can recognize everyone else by the fact that they drive a bad line, don't make use of the track width and drive inconsistent lap times.
Sim racers can push way harder than real life due to this.
Sim racers can go wreck the car 15000 times trying to get that best laptime, with no real consequence.
or how is the tire supposed to go right in and fast out of the corner, maybe this is really i racing tyre physics but maybe can help in all sims idk
u want to figure out alone, but it is also funy to learn and try out spezially when it can fix driving issues
i mean who knows all this and more, maybe wins a lot will the guy who has low knowledge beat him? all the day? ppl who dont have a setup and blame it on others are surely bots. not worth speaking about this ppl its like u say, hey youre 2y old baby is slower than me <3
all i meant was if u dont know if someone is cheating u may dont reached enough knowledge
