In any case for anyone else reading, in situations like this, one should always ask oneself: "what am I really trying to achieve here". Are you looking to race cars in a sim or are you looking to have arguments over your name. If you are looking to race cars in a sim, then do that. If you want to go on some ego trips about your made up name, then by all means, come here to post and show how immature your world view is.
And what do I think about immature people? I think its best to keep them out of multiplayer races. Immaturity often means such people are the ones who are also ready to crash another racer out for anything they perceive as a slight against them. Its simply better when people who cant control their emotions are not in a multiplayer sim environment.
Sorry for being harsh and blunt, but that's how it is.
Anyway, you asked what I am trying to accomplish? Well, that's simple but I'll explain if you can't figure it out.... I'd rather if no one else went through this BS, so now people can choose whether or not they want to change their name, use different name, or not and deal with these guys on a power trip. Nothing will change for me, I left the platform because it ain't worth the hustle for me. But perhaps it will save someone else the headache.
I totally get your point, and I see where you're coming from, I just feel like I was treated unjust and I am not one to back down, but one to try to make things right if I feel I did someone wrong, as business owner this approach has not yet let me down, give credit where credit is due, but don't be push over either.
You guys haven't had any specific roles attached to your names, I was attacked by at least 3 or 4 members all at once, I'd have to go back and review the conversation to know for sure, but I assumed you were all admits because you certainly were conducting yourselves as administrators.
Anyway, it's not about me now as our issues or differences got resolved, but I want this post to spare others from the headache, so perhaps they'll change their name to fictional but of your choosing to fit your criteria and CoC, and it will save you dealing with same situation as I can't imagine this being fun for you, or anyone else involved.
Cheers!
But in the end that probably matters less to you than having fun racing and sometimes you gotta pick your battles. Good luck with whatever path you decide on
You are kidding right? If anyone is throwing toys, you are calling him immature for pointing out that he got more trouble over his name than he should have. Whether the photo ID was a joke from a Patron or not, shows LFM did not deal with it appropriately. Yes their thing their rules, but that is a right way to go about it. The resistance to calls people like yourself give is why we cant have nice things, you supposed maturity is actually what enables greed. Names do not weed out the immature, and you know that. So stop pretending to be naive and having a moral high ground, you are more the problem them Falcon possibly could have been in this situation even if they are telling all lies. (Fore warning I am not reading anyone's replies because I know what they will be and I already know we wont agree).
Thank you, no worries, there are other platforms which are very good as well and more suiting for championship setups etc... I also don't play video games that much as I am generally quite busy and travel often. Usually every year I get most down time between December and February so generally that's when I do some gaming, outside of that I am too busy. Bit I am glad that to see you understand angle I am coming from, I often use term that you can't expect everyone to agree with your views etc... it will never happen, but hopefully they'll understand where you're coming from.
Take care.
Totally agree with you on not being able to call people out any more because there is always someone that is happy to not stand up for themselves or others and actually attempt to take down those that do, and those are the very same people that will stand up for them when they can't. It's the new WOKE culture which is a plague. I mean if that's how someone wants to be, that's fine, but don't be critical of those still out there that are willing to stand up to people with power trips because those people may one day stand up for us when we can't stand up for ourselves for whatever reason.
Reiza should have used the RCO, it is much more fun with much better layout.
I've seen some pretty nasty names on the LFM board so i'm not sure why they are going after you for a name that is not offensive in the least unless you somehow hate Star Wars.
Maybe LFM creators are Star Trek fans.... Uh oh
I don't know, perhaps LFM becomes much better if you are a patron member
You act like you are a victim in some kind of stuggle for justice with huge multinational coporation.
"greed" and "They did not act perfectly" says it all. Here you see, you have the right to call LFM greedy - an inrrelevant lie, but they have to act "perfect".
WOKE culture? Arent you acting like a victim here and seeking justice? You are the representation of softness and feelings above everything else. You call others woke?
Discord servers (at least the bigger ones) tend to use different username colours for different roles, and you can check the grouping of the user list to figure out what the colours mean. That is also how it works in the LFM Discord. You can also click on an individual username to see all the roles assigned to that user.
No idea how it works on mobile, but I assume that it's similar.
