Automobilista 2

Automobilista 2

project cars 2 + g923 all over again?
I stored my g923 for more or less a year, I just installed ghub and update ams2 but the game simply does not recognize it!

Another game bricked my g923?

In a quick search I found some "solutions" but, why just dont fix the freaking game?

Unfotunately, the issue comes more probably from the Logitech drivers than from the game itself. This ghub has been a real issue with Logitech's G29 series wheels for years. I had a G29 and experienced the same kind of issues in racing games (I remember AMS1 had to find a fix ; Pcars2 never had issues with the G29 though) ; these were annoying times. The most annoying part is that I still can plug my old Drving Force Pro with the old Logitech software and it works. I never undesrstood what Logitech had done with this G29 series.

I have a G29, my cousin have a G923, we both play AMS2 from the get go.
Logitech Gaming Software is the way, as you are using GHUB just get rid of that thing, I would not touch GHUB with a 20meters stick.

You message is confusing.

Thanks!

Yep, I understand that the source seems to be in the drivers however the game publisher should maintain compatibility with Logitech's SDK changes not the gamer looking for fixes that implies deleting some files, installing old drivers version, reinstalling and alike.

GHUB is not Logitech Gaming Software, LGS is something different from GHUB.

Yes, they are 2 different things, the problem with LGS it is does not support newer hardware, so if you have a mouse or keyboard or other logitech products, you probably need to install GHub anyway.

I'm using GHub 2023.10.493246 and a G29, works with every game I have. No issues, but remember, disable automatic updates in GHub.

GHUB to me work on old version until it dont after it auto updates (and unchecking the auto update dont stop it from auto updating) so no I wont install GHUB no matter what, a headache that is absolutely not worth when GHUB suddenly decides to screw things up.

I just uninstalled GHUB and installed LGS 9.4 something and the wheel is working but without vibrate :(

The exact version you have is not available at https://logitech-g-hub.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions :(
I will try the nearest and let you know.

Thanks man.

Thing is, GHUB works until it dont .. whenever it decides to auto update (even if you uncheck the auto update box) it may result in an update that screws your wheel, with LGS I just dont have this headache (tho about the "vibration" I think you mean true force?, then I dont know).

And yes I do use the LGS 9.04.49, still using for over 1 year and a half without issues on all sims (tho my wheel is a G29 not a G923, my cousin have the G923 and it also works but I dont know about the "vibration")

Well... keep this GHUB installer version and be prepared to from time to time uninstall and replace the newer version of GHUB with this one that works.

i had problems with logitech wheels the g 29 was giving me a hard time and I thought logitech was the best kind of wheel to have without paying heaps for other expensive brands. i finally sold my logitech and bought a thrustmaster rs 300 gt and what a difference
the build quality is way better no more gears belt drive way better wheel for the same price as the logitech g93. I know this is no help in your current situation but something to about in the future.

Yup, I upgraded because I would have to uninstall Ghub once a month. At the time I was using it on AC mainly and it drove me nuts.
