Now this is NOT the case for the ignoramuses at Kunos,, for both ACC and now again with ACE, the devs have seemingly intentionally restricted the player so that we cannot bind inputs to whichever control binding we want,,, and you can't bind the right Analogue controller the way i have for this game, because the devs have deliberately decided to do this,
I ask you who is playing the game who should be deciding how they want to control how to operate the sim?, the devs or the player?, because in every other racing sim in history where an analogue pad could be used no dev has sort to restrict the player in such an arrogant and bigoted fashion, even if i owned the best DD wheel on the planet, i would still feel disrespected by such stupid arrogant design choices,, and both those titles will be when i get round to them, receiving negative reviews, because this arrogance is totally unacceptable
I mean could you imagine a popular FPS not including an inverse orientation control scheme because the arrogant devs decided that legacy controls were good for all players,, therefore other options were not needed. ?, Just imagine the outrage among the playing community, well i feel "EXACTLY" the same about this..
PS i am currently using an xbox one? controller, but i also have a ps4 conroller and am certain it would have no problems either, basically the game allows you to this...unlike the 2 games i mentioned above..
However, the gyroscope controls work much better in ACE than in AMS2.
AMS2 doesn't allow players to set up the controller like a steering wheel, meaning it doesn't have any driver aids or dead zones.
This significantly limits the gyroscope controls in AMS2.
