that being said, most mid to late 90's cars drivers were seated so low they could just see someone in front of them & were really driven by looking out the sides of the cars for corner entry and exit.
2000's as well as the formula reiza the view of the front of the car was much better.
tbh you dont need to replicate what drivers saw but it can be helpful for immersion, the two cars I found undriveable as far as seating position were the '90s mclaren and the F-reiza, for me i had to tap "w" twice and they were perfect afterwards.
you can adjust how low or high your driver sits in every car with W and S btw
