rfactor 2 VS automobilista 2

alright drivers, whats your favorite race sim right now?

i have to say that im an rfactor2 nut and im torn between this and rf2. , AC and pc2 have them both but automobilista 2 pulls ahead of them by a car or two. i want to see what people prefer any why if possible.

I've had AMS2 since EA and just got rF2 during the holidays, so my experience is pretty limited. If I had to choose one I'd probably choose rF2 though, mainly for the content, there are things I prefer in either otherwise.

Okay...Rf2 has better laser scanned tracks and feels a bit more sim like than Bilista2. Bilista is more fun to drive and the AI isn't that bad. FFB is a tad more detailed in RF2 bit not by much. I switch between the two all the time.

Just use AMS2 ffs.

Tor2 seems like a mess still though, frakking around trying to get the "new" UI functional still. (see what I did there...)

Ohh lol but I dont even know what AMS2 means. I never played the first. Is it automobile simulator 2?

Automobilista means "car (automobile) user", basically a driver.

Have both games and tried them extensively over a long period of time.

For me RF2 just feels like its very unfinished. I did not get along with the new UI, the content varies a lot in quality and the DLC feels expensive. Yes it drives well but for me it isn't enough to overcome the other issues.

AMS2 is progressing nicely. It isn't a finished product yet but each update brings improvements. I like the content it has and it's fun to drive. It runs well with no hitches.

Between the two I'd pick AMS2. Rf2 has had it's day and I won't be investing in it anymore.

I'm really loving AMS2 .. I thought I'd only like the open wheels but have been reallky enjoying the GT1s they recently added. I didn't play too much RF2 .. PC2 is also good, but I feel the curbs and rear end feel is a bit off in that compared to AMS2

I love AMS 2 ....its going better and better ....looks like going a great sim in the future , Spa is best version i ever seen .....then AC - ACC - Race Room and last place RF2 , pysics great , grafichs ...really bad and loading times terrible...like 1999 loading times :)

GT4 Ginetta around Brands Hatch on the patch that just went through is awesome. Just the right amount of slide. Edit: Great on Spa

ACC for me, best graphics, (especially night racing very immersive) sound, physics, ffb, nice U.I, decent A.I and quick loading times. The only downside maybe is no modded tracks or cars.

Can someone tell me if you can have full championship seasons in rFactor? Are the AI good? I only play offline.
