EDIT: Sorry about the video. I didn't have the sound on but only saw he brought up the in-car menu. :(
If you want to do random weather, you can create and save multiple strategies and then choose that in the EMC menus during the race. However, I still can't maneuver through those without crashing so I don't do random weather changes. :)
They really need to let you assign hot-keys to the various strategies so one can just hit "1" on they keyboard for one type of stop, "2" for another etc. Or let you hit pause and choose your strategy. It's just not realistic to work through a complicated menu system mid race. This area is one place that the sim needs help.
The issue with this was that I could change to wets, but it wouldn't let me change back to slicks. There is a menu that I can bring up while on the track to adjust pit strategy and change how much fuel I will add and whether or not I want to repair so I have been using that and it works great.
Any tips for working through the menu and not get too distracted from actually driving?
alternatively I guess you could also setup a macro though voice attack to do that so its like you are talking to your racing engineer. You can also play audio back so your race engineer seems like he is responding to your request.
