The refueling bug still, any cars dont refueling in off and On line

Hm, I seem to remember refueling since 1.6, I usually run 2x or 3x fuel and tires so that everyone has to pit. I may be wrong, will give it a shot tonight to be sure but fairly certain that since the update I have refueled. Def need to set the refueling allowed to yes though in the race screen, it is possible that is the issue here.

Yes, with refueling allowed, because when it is not enabled it is, but even putting it in 2x or not some categories randomly does not refuel, it had never happened with me, but now it happened

idk about a refueling bug but I have def had it not give me the proper fuel I selected a few times.
Often it seems in qualifying I choose lower fuel and then go do my lap and its still 50+ ltr also sometimes no tc available at all. Its very random I did have it happen in a race too luckily it was a yellow flag and my battery saved me from not crossing the finish line.

A few of my races have gone wrong when no fuel goes in at a pitstop, what I found was that my Default strategy had zero fuel /all tyres and my defined strategy with tyres and fuel was not selected in the race.

I double check now before entering the pits I bring up LCD in the HUD, go to the pitstop page and see which Strategy is selected OR set the fuel in every strategy OR set the fuel/tyres/repair in the LCD HUD menu while on a long straight.

This "no refuel" bug during pitting happens if you never ever modified the car setup (any value). For example a new car you have never driven before and for which you did not change any setup value.

yes same here, playing on steam deck for the first time. In the championship I've had to abandon game because of no fuel many times because team would not refuel me at designated fuel stop.

Did you set a pit strategy configured to do refuel only (repairs and tires change disabled) ?
Other than that, for each new car you drive, do this once: make sure to always go into car settings and change a value (it does not matter which one, but starting fuel is an easy one) to force the setup (and pit strategy) to apply. That may seem obvious but also check that refuelling is not disabled in the race settings.

I tried using refueling in my offline championship mode but AMS2 makes refueling a guess at best, so I don't use fuel usage. Plus getting the AI to use a good refueling strategy is another issue.

Yeah I struggle with this. Try and select fuel when driving around and it says zero laps and I can't change it. ♥♥♥♥♥ system

What car are you driving?

Be aware the game is strict on the rules of some F1 older f1 car had to follow where 'refueling was banned'. (Its not a bug but an intended feature.

maybe it only pertains to certain car classes?, the ones I used had no such issue though there is an inconsistency with tyre wear again it may be car and or track specific, but i have had a tyre wear which was basically 50% worse ie my tires were totally dead after 9-10 laps max whilst the ai cars all managed in this particular race to make their rubber last 15-16 laps,,, that sort of difference is going to effect gameplay and balance.and as a result make the experience less enjoyable
