If youre talking about the 499P than definitely not but we will probably get the 296
Yeah me either lol but maybe this will be the game that we turn to for GT3’s after ACC reaches the end of its lifecycle. We’re gonna have quite a lot of GT3’s to choose from after they all come in
It won’t come in this one I don’t imagine, probably in next one, remember there’s probably gonna be about 5 cars joining in this pack but they are still determined to represent most of the grid, bit by bit it’ll come and should definitely be out around the end of the IMSA season
In this coming pack I’d expect the GTP lineup to be complete
ORECA 07
Lamborghini Huracàn EVO II
Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II
Corvette C7 ZO6 GT3
Then when they eventually get around to the final pack we will probably see:
Ligier JS P217
Ferrari 296 GT3
Aston Martin Vantage EVO GT3
Ford Mustang GT3
Lexus RCF GT3
Then we wait for 2025 for the Valkyrie! Let’s hope IMSA extends with AMS2 it’d be very good for us and them
I am certainly hoping we get Ferrari and Lamborghini along with Audi, I suppose Lexus and Ford might be two of the others, Ford would be great for classic Le Mans I loved that Ford vs Ferrari 1960s racing in Project Cars. Acura will be a probable though.
Hopefully we will see the Renault Clio as well - they were superb around Snetterton in PCars.
Audi GT3 evo II
Oreca LMP2
Lambo LMDh
Corvette GT3
Acura ARX-06
Road Atlanta
Mosport
Sebring
Maybe 1.6 will address that?
You clearly don't understand the nature of licensing...
It was in no way cheap to allow Reiza to add Audi to the roster of cars.
As a matter of FACT cost of gaining these licensing agreements is the reason why some manufacturers don't or won't appear in the title.
The content was indeed in the PC2 files but that doesn't give Reiza the right to use them in game. The PC2 licensing agreements ran out which lead to the title being removed from sale without renegotiating new agreements with all the manufacturers in the game.
This is also why there are so many generic cars within the Formula classes alongside some that they HAVE negotiated a license to use.
We now know of another 7 manufacturer licensing agreements have been reached (including Audi), and negotiations are underway for more in the future.
Hell even us beta testers are predominately in the dark as to what we'll be testing between now and v1.6.
Any speculation is therefore, exactly that, speculation and nothing else.
The only people who know what's planned are Renato and the team working on the content and licensing agreement negotiations and they aren't gonna let slip what's coming until the deal is done and contracts are signed.
As for Audi being included in the GT3 classes? IMSA isn't the ONLY GT3 series on the planet you know..
The GT3 class was added from launch well before the endurance class WEC cars came along, cars are being or MIGHT be added when the licenses are agreed.
They are in the WEC for a start which was the basis for the endurance pack pt1, these series also include...
DTM/GTWC EUROPE/Spa 24 hours.
INTERCONTINENTAL GT.
AsLMS/ELMS.
GT OPEN.
GTWC AMERICA/ASIA/AUSTRALIA.
Major National GT championships(British/Italian/Brazilian/NLS/super GT) etc etc.
Many do feature Audi, many don't, that's Audi's choice at the end of the day.
It's also the foundation behind both the WEC and IMSA's recent changes to their rules which allow the cars to be raced in either series or BOTH if the manufacturers choose to by significantly reducing the development costs of the cars.
Net result? more than 2-3 manufacturers taking part...
Audi have been a global presence in motorsport of various types since the early 1900's.
So excluding them would be ludicrous given the ability (or lack of it) to fund any such licensing agreements.
