With my rtx 3070 and old 5600x at 2k with full grid all maxed out my avg fps 120, vs rf2 wich pretty much the same as lmu 56fps avg, with only 15 ai
Remember the next update for ams2 will include the license for imsa so alot of improve in lmp, gt cars
I also believe that AMS2 got a contract (?) or something with IMSA, which is similar to WEC and should have all the same vehicles as the WEC. If I remember reading correctly. My 2 cents. :)
LMU handles multi-class racing better - as much as I love driving in AMS2, the AI still really struggles with multi-class. Example: I did an LMDH and GT3 race at Imola recently, running 10/12 in my category (LMDH), on the lap that we reached the GT3 cars I went up 7 places in one lap because the LMDH AI struggled to get past the GT3 cars. The driving experience is still good, but it kind of puts a damper on it. Hopefully the devs can fix this going forward!
Personally I enjoy driving both games.
it is expected for EA releases to have issues and/or missing features and content.
lol even 4+ years old "projects" in this genre have lot of major bugs, issues and still missing promised features...:D
Agree with that :) didn't mean for it to sound like a criticism. Overall any bugs I have found (of which small) haven't stopped me from enjoying the sim and it would be expected for EA, as you say. Personally I think LMU has improved a lot since launch and they are working on it.
But yes, some 4+ titles do still have bugs and missing features ;-) heck, even some annual releases still have bugs each year (cough F1) !!
for only 25 euros you get officially licensed premium quality cars and tracks (still more to come till full game release i guess)
i mean you could find the same content in a DLC for the same (reasonable) price in other (cough) titles... :D
*except AMS1 and AMS2, i mean
