Moza HGP H Pattern Shifter not recognized
Works fine in iracing. Won't let me assign controls in AMS2. Tried restart, calibrated in pithouse software, restarted the game several times, same issue. Searched everywhere and found nothing. Anyone else having similar issues?

Rename the AMS2 folder in documents mate and try again, if that works you could copy over your profile

No difference, tested in AC as well and it works fine so its definitely an issue with this game.

check your usb see if your using ver 3.0 or 2.0, other than that you do have moza software installed. let me know and I will do a setup video for you

it's plugged into the wheel (R12), I will check that it's not in a usb 2.0 port tho, like i said works in every other game, I don't want to use separate usb cables for everything that's why I bought this gear, the handbrake and pedals are plugged into the wheel as well and they seem to work, reaching out to Moza support as well.

Had it for over a year, no issues with it with any other games. Might be time to uninstall this one.

Yeah, having the same issue on the same setup. Shifter works in other games, but not AMS2.

Hello my friend looking for help.

Did you put the transmission in manual and turn off the automatic clutch?
That's how it works for me. However, I have the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter.
Everything via USB.
When I plug it into the steering wheel base it doesn't work for me either.
Hope i can help you with these information.

Thanks for your help, I did try that thing with the auto clutch however it didn't work. If I were to use my pedals, shifter, wheel, handbrake, and sequential shifter on seperate USBs, thats 6 seperate usb ports, 7 if you include my button box. Shouldn't have to do that. I don't even think that's possible on my PC if I want to have a mouse and keyboard as well. I've given up, Might give it another try on the next major update. Plenty of other games that don't have this issue, and most of them have the same cars and tracks anwyay. Moza I know they don't make the greatest stuff but it's one of the only major brands of DD gear that is readily available in most major retail stores here. I hope they add proper compatibility one day.

Hello, i assume you did set your shifter up correctly? Because in AMS 2, if you want for example map the first gear, you have to select that gear and go to neutral again so that it gets registered.

I have a fanatec Shifter, via usb and it works just fine.

Yes

Silly question but have you navigated to the install folder and tried running "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\AMS2AVX.exe" as local administrator?

According to this forum thread there seems to be an issue with AMS not recognizing button-mappings above a certain number. So it's either up to Reiza to fix this in-game, Moza to change the HGPs Firmware, or someone with coding knowledge to tell us how to change the mapping our selves.

Same issue with Moza shifter on R12 DD. No problem on the old AC and others sims. This game does not works properly with Moza stuff, devs needs to fix it.

maybe the game has an issue with the Moza shifter, but I'm running a Moza R21, Moza CRP pedals, and a TH8A shifter with zero issues.
