Demo works but full Linux game won't Launch due to needing 32 bit libraries!?
Just downloaded the demo, and it works like a dream (244 FPS) on Linux. Linux is listed as supported. However after purchasing the full game it won't launch due to needing 32 bit libraries...this feels like a scam tbh.

Anyone know what 32 bit libraries it needs or how to get it working *as it listed*?

I am interested into buying this game but would also like to know if it is possible to use the native GNU/Linux binary before I decide to buy this. If installing 32-bit compatibility libraries would be oK. Maybe any plans to make a proper modern 64-bit binary release?

Apparently there is no full binary for Linux. The Steam page is misleading; they should change it. Runs well for me at 120 FPS with 3 1080P screens on a 3060ti. 3 screens is easy to setup. However getting the game to recognize a wheel (T300) is a nightmare, there is currently a known issue on Steam not being able to recognize wheels after Proton 5. This was listed last April and still no update.

I briefly got it to work by using a debug version of Proton, but now it's now working again after the update. I'd hold off if you want to use a wheel. Not sure about g29. Check protondb.

Erm dunno if this is pertinent as I'm on Windows but the game IS known to "lose" wheels.
Try swapping the USB port used 1st, if no joy?
Might be worth trying to manually re-assign all controls but you MUST pull and recenter the rim in about 1 second or nothing happens.
You DON'T need to goto full lock, 90 degrees is enough and you'll need to calibrate in game to set the rotation properly.
If you pull and recenter too slowly you'll get "multiple inputs detected", this DOES mean the inputs are being picked up so try faster.
Same for the pedals, stamp and release or you'll get the same results as with the rim.
The wheel MUST also be on and run it's self calibration BEFORE launching the game or AMS2 won't see it as, it only detects during the launch/loading process.
Work through all controls and you SHOULD be all good.
If this doesn't work on the T300 profile try again on the "custom wheel" option.
I've had this exact issue on both my old T300 and CSL DD on a few occasions (usually right after an update of the game) and one of the above has resolved it each time.
Again this might be irrelevant on Linux but it's solved many such issues on Windows rigs.
So worth a try at least (if you haven't already tried all of this ofc).

No thanks, have to suffer it at work and it is becomming worse and worse by each release, basically it has become just a bloated spyware/adware. I would rather not play a game if it requires to use Windows then suffer this attrocity.
