There are LMP2s and LMP3s coming to the game in the next Endurance DLC. I hope Reiza find a way to increase the grid size and it will be a blast doing an endurance race against 60 odd other cars.
iRacing LMP are much more easy to turn in, they are much better and feel like they have downforce. That being said rFactor 2, the LMP2 brakes lock up at 200 mph if you jump on the brakes and you get snap oversteer.
LMP1 and LMP900 (Bentley speed 8) would be great. Also Toyota GT1 would be nice.
AMS2 is really coming on though, its the best and most polished package for a "jack of all trades" simulator/game. ACC is the best single series though (well GT series, multiclass).
I tried the LMH cars and didn't like them at all tbh. It felt like it had no downforce and I was really struggling to get the cars to turn in. For me at least, they felt very much like the old AMS2 handling (floating and sliding all over the place) They just didn't make sense to me but it could just be a skill issue on my end.
The both cars you mentioned are available as mods. I have them both but haven't tried them yet. Downloaded a load the other day, some great mods available. Content manager makes things easy to install, just drag and drop the files like in AC.

Cars you mentioned are in the thunderflash mods.
Also with Mods one ends up with too much content, for me this makes me lose interest. I need a narrower focus, that's why I like ACC and hopefully LeMans Ultimate.
I have the Thrustmaster Ferrari sf-1000 so no dash is cool for me.
AMS2 does not feel as nice to drive as the AMS1, which felt great to me. The handling is sluggish and floaty its not you. It stops me liking the sim fully, the handling just doesent do it for me.
If the handling is feeling sluggish, floaty or whatever... you just need to fine tune your setup some.
I agree, I downloaded all the mods available but barely tried them yet
I am fussy with dashboards lol, I like ones where I can cycle the info as I don't like playing with HUD on.
I have never found the handling great tbh, its only the recent changes to the AI that got me back into the game. I find most cars feel very unnatural and don't make a whole lot of sense. The LMH cars felt like a boat (to me) for example, having said that, its a far more relaxed sim. Where as AC, ACC etc I am sweating and thinking about what the car is doing, AMS2 I can have a conversation and not worry about the car trying to kill me.
As much hate as I might get, for me its still feels like a entry sim than a full on simulator. Could just be that we have such a wide window with the tyres in this game, makes it hard to actually lose the cars.

Well, usually his mods are free..
I'm waiting for those LMP1's for ages, I thought Reiza would bring them..
I try to adjust the setup, but I cant seem to get it right. Assetto Corsa Competizione feels great, but AMS2 feels strange. I think its the PC2 base, it has similar issues with handling. AMS2 is like Assetto Corsa and Project Cars 2 together. AMS 1 was great just the default setup was fine.
It is the worst handling to me, ACC, rFactor 2, iRacing, Raceroom AMS1, all are better driving experiance.
I think it is more like a game than a simulator, I change my mind every few days with AMS2. I cant reach a conclusive opinion. The cars seem more like amateur made mods than proper developed cars for a sim, its hard to explain but their is something missing.
They look nice but compared to ACC it is lacking in driving experience, if the physics were like ACC I wouldn't complain about these things. Overall its a great sim/game, but its too much of a jack of all trades, bits of everything and nothing complete (like rFactor 2 but atleast the driving is great in rFactor2).
The cars feel like they are under-steering and pushing out in the corners then the back end snaps. Its like PC2 in a way, the sluggishness boat feeling.
