Do driving school in GT7 first or jump right into karting in this game?

I am a beginner and I want to get decent (at the just-driving side of things first, I'm not ready to also worry about the setup side of things yet), and I could use your advice/take on whether it's worth it going through the driving school mode in Gran Turismo 7 before / alongside jumping into karting in this game (that's my main plan to start gettting ok....do lots of time trial laps in the 11hp kart until i'm like top 10 on all the tracks, then rinse and repeat with more powerful karts, etc)

Honestly, just start with whatever you want. You gotta practice anyway. Doesnt matter what Car you start with.

Drive what you enjoy and get better with it :)

Thank you! I'm gonna go with karts cos I got a real kart track nearby and I want to try real karting. It's prob the only IRL kind of racing I can afford in terms of money and time for the time being, so makes sense to practice that

Update: I am putt-putting along in the GX390. Started to play around with the setup in a really basic way. Having a lot of fun!
