New content in AMS2 Beta is the best!
If you don't have access to AMS2 Beta and are waiting for new content in the next update then the wait will be worth it in my opinion. I'm not normally a fan of Rally and Dirt driving games but the Dirt and RX in AMS2 is just brilliant. Driving the Formula Dirt car around the Ascurra Dirt track was so much fun. In fact, I will never want to win a race because it is so much better for me picking your way through the dust and dirt from the cars in front! I have not tried this in the wet yet. I wonder if you can and what that is like? Also tested out the Mitsubushi Lancer Evo10 RX around the Foz RX track plus the Citroen DS3 RX around the Tykki Dirt 1 RX track. Again such a blast sliding corners and nailing those jumps and landings which I admit came a shock and surprise. I think I just might be becoming a convert to this style of driving.

Is the Rallycross part of the 1.5 update or is it seperate?

Pretty certain its separate DLC. From the last development update they released.

"The time has finally come for AMS2 to branch outside of tarmac and get dirty, as with V1.5 we will also be releasing the Adrenaline Pack DLC, bringing a variety of off-road and extreme cars & tracks to the sim."

I don't care for RallyX at all, doubt I will be buying the next dlc.

The RallyX mechanics are part of the free patch but the new cars and tracks will be part of the dlc.

How do you get access to the beta build?

It's probably part of that expensive 'Paddock Club' that Reiza were mentioning the other month.

I would much rather keep my money for other games and just wait for the proper release before I consider buying or not.

I think if anything over the last year Reiza's lack of hitting deadlines justifies exercising some caution over prepurchasing any their stuff from now on.

And they are well overdue even now on their latest dev update that was promised for a week ago ....

I hear all the usual complaining about deadlines and cost of Paddock Club etc and its just boring for me. My post is not here to defend or knock Reiza on content delivery and/or how they want to be supported. Its your money and you decide how you wish to spend it. The purpose of my comment is just to offer my opinion and hopefully get some from people who have tried it themselves. Like I said above, I'm no fan of rally games. I never enjoyed it in PC2 and I think I bought Dirt Rally and have tried to get on with it a few times but ultimately uninstalled the game. For the record, my main focus in AMS2 is and will always be the vintage and retro F1 cars. BUT, the Dirt and RX, at the moment only available in the AMS2 Beta, has surprised me in just how good it is to drive. It is brilliant. For those who already have access and anyone who does eventually pay for access by whatever route to the Adrenaline dlc content, in my opinion you will not be disappointed. But please let me know what you think if you have tried it.

yeah yeah yeah, just one thing: how did you try it already and i am waiting for it for 2 weeks or more and im a member of paddock, etc.?

I hope it drops soon. I am getting tired of the F1 variants and P1 races. give me please. I own all content and adrenaline pack offering the dirt cars and a dirt model is last of season pass content. But the physics fix is what is really the meat and potatoes . Oh and the period dated pit crew outfits that too lol.

Really looking forward to setting world record times and competing with the community in the time trials section.

Of course i'll be doing some online dirt lobbies as well. Really can't wait.

I'm so hyped for it that i have not been able to play AMS2. Went back to Dirt Rally to scratch the itch.

For those willing to pay for AMS2 PADDOCK CLUB MEMBERSHIP, among what you get is a Automobilista 2 Beta Steam key. This gives you early alpha / beta updates and new content (free or DLC) so members have the opportunity to test and/or contribute to their development before they are deployed to the main game release. Just load and launch it like any other game in your Steam library.

Again no one is being forced to pay for anything they don't want. I mean for me it was an absolute bargain and significantly cheaper than paying for the bore of GT3 cars in ACC, the latest Codemasters F1 game and any form of subscription to i-racing. Each to their own and enjoy what your driving/racing.

If i knew what we were getting, i would join as well. With the added bonus of getting beta access.
I'm not bashing the paddock club or its members by any means. No need to justify your decision to me my friend.

The instructions you provided should hopefully help your fellow club member.

Ah, the Paddock Blob, I mean Club. I made predictions about its possible consequences, and those predictions are coming true very quickly. Personally speaking, I'd never join any club that'd have me as a member.
