ams2 has better feeling ffb especially vibrations from the track and the engine (to me), better weathersystem and some unique content
thank you i will check it out further..
I don't really see how you could or should choose between these games, both is best. And PCars2 still holds up.
in terms of simulating the GT3/GT4 real world cars and championship and online population, comparison between those two sims is just unfair.
you can even ask renato simioni about this and get the same answer all the time.
You need to look at the differences in content.
AMS2 has more and a wider variety of content, with a specific lean towards on obscure South American tracks and series. It does still feature many more locations and cars than just what you'd find in South America, but the focus is on South America because the studio is Brazilian.
Assetto Corsa Competizone focuses on GT class racing, which is largely European. You'll only find modern GT cars and tracks, but with an extreme focus.
They're both very good in your own right.
If you can't decide, Humble Bundle has a giant pack of many racing sims, including ACC and AMS2 + others for $12 USD right now. It will only be on sale there for a week or two more.
But AMS2 feels like your in tune with the behavior of the car. You "feel" its movements, rather than try to "think" about its movements.
Both are GOOD. ACC is tough and makes me sweat more. But AMS2 is pure driving enjoyment.
