I'm not a huge simhead, but I love racing the Super V8's around Oulton Park in AMS1 - feels great.
If AMS2 is a step back (apart from Graphics) I might give it a miss.
I think you could love AMS2 but ISIMotor still has some aces. Hard to say.
So if you want a sim that is good, cheap and frozen in it's current state forever AMS1 is great, but if you have the patience to enjoy a developing sim and appreciate the bits that work well for you right now then AMS2 is the way to go.
AMS2 has a more complex and in-depth model for physics and ffb than AMS1, but so much of physics is personal preference. Some people prefer the cleaner driving model AMS1 provides.
Makes me suspect it won't get nailed.
That said.. if it's as good or better than AMS1 in some departments, I'm sure it's worth a go.
I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
As I say, I'm not a simhead, I enjoyed Project Cars 2, tho I think my faves are AMS1 and that fiddly RF2.
