you can't change MAP while driving in AMS2 = no MAP assignment
you can assign TC/ABS* (and some assists like steering and breaking) in "assistance" tab
there are not any assignments for menu controls. the game suppose to recognize the input devices and assign menu controls automatically (?)
* (i guess because of the madness engine) TC/ABS settings use percentage instead of numbers (like in real cars and other sims).
the TC/ABS bindings is one button (each) with off/low/high settings**
the number for TC in car's dashboard is FAKE and never change no matter what setting you apply!!!
** if you choose 75% ABS in setup, i guess "off" is 0%. but how much is "low" and "high"? if high is 100% how much is low? very confusing. same with TC. this high/low/off settings working good with "break assist" and "steer assist" but how to use them in ABS and TC?
right click on game in steam -> properties -> disable steam input
if this dont work go to \Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\automobilista 2\profiles rename or delete default.controllersettings.v1.03
if all these fail, you could try to setup a "custom wheel" in "control scheme"
At least with TC, here's how it was applied for PC2:

For those not wanting to click on the link:
"Take this as an extreme example of how the assist and the slip works, and this isn't the actual values by the way, I'm just using them to help explain the theory behind it and make it simple:
- Lets say TC High = 100% Strength, all power cut as soon as the system kicks in. And TC Low = 50% Strength, half the power cut as soon as the system kicks in.
- TC Slip determines how much wheel spin I want to allow, before the TC assist engages.
So, if I'm running TC High, with a TC Slip of 10, once the wheels start slipping by more than 10%, I'm going to have all power cut whilst the TC system is engaged. If I run TC Low, with a TC Slip of 10, once the wheels start slipping by more than 10%, I'm going to have 50% of my power cut. Likewise if I'm running TC High but with a TC Slip of 75, once the wheels start slipping more than 75%, I'm going to have all power cut, and then 50% power cut if I'm again running TC slip of 75 but TC Low.
Again, the above is an extreme example but hopefully it makes it clear that the Assist option is the strength of the TC system once it engages, and the TC Slip setting is determining at what point the TC system will engage. With the assist Off, it's all Off as others have pointed out."
@OP
i was wrong mate: actually you can change the MAP (and TC, ABS values) while on track, via the In Car Managment (ICM) HUD menu
TC and ABS values in dashboard remains fake though
not the faster or the more realistic option but better than nothing
you can assign buttons for ICM menu in "edit assigments" -> "game"

So I fixed most of my problems and actually like the game in addition to iracing and ACC.
Good fun to just drive some not so well known cars, so i supported them with the season pass to make it even better!
Only problem i still can´t navigate the menu with my wheel...
So annoying to use my mouse.
Anyone knows a fix?
