i'm aware of this but don't want the messing around. if i buy i research first and keep.

I run it in vr with a GTX1080 with a vive pro and it looks awesome.I really enjoy the driving feel too over AC,PC2,Raceroom,and ACC.I still personally think the feels in rFactor 2 are supreme, but AMS2 is next in line. I run all of those in vr and AMS2 runs just as well as PC2 and leaps and bounds better than ACC does. Like every game or sim,I put in the wish list on steam and purchase em when they goes on sale. this hobby isn't cheap so every few dollhairs help.

I recommend this game (I don't even play VR) because it has all of the features that I like (AI driver can take over your car, which helps in endurance races), the graphics are incredible the game runs great on my 8 year old computer. ACC won't run on my machine if I have more than 3 cars in the grid lol! I have no idea what they do different but AMS2 runs great and looks better! Other than the DLC's and some texture addons, the game is great out of the box, no need to mess with mods. The driving feels very realistic. The championship mode is great, and there a plans for custom championships soon.
As others have stated, try it out for a few hours. You probably won't want to return it!
