Automobilista 2

Automobilista 2

It is impossible to play with a controller!
Can you guys play with a dualshock 4? When the game launched I was able to control the car but right now no matter what settings i use i can't even pass 3 meters and i lose direction. I regret paying for this game.

Have you deleted your AMS2 folder found in your documents .
I didn't do this on a previous update and my wheel was undrivable until i did this.
Im sure it would help!

Hell, I even tried turning on all assists so I could play super casual. Nope, the car still lost control when I was steering or pressing the pedal in the first driving minute.

I am installing it again, and I am going to delete the ams2 folder in my documents.

I did this and nothing changed. The first car on this game's list handles okay but the others are impossible to drive. I was in 3rd gear and I pressed hard on the pedal but my car preffered to go in circles no matter what I did.

No, everything is the same as before but probably your controller doesn't work correctly? Is wheel turning smooth? What other games do you like on a controller?

Assetto Corsa, Competizione, F1 2019, Dirt rally 1 and 2 run well on my dualshock 4 controller.

Only AC doesn't have any helper like AMS2. Everything else is assisted.

Does steering work normally? Because maybe you have other problem.

It feels as it's changed a bit . The deadzone feels too big on 0 setting on xbox one pad . Have to fiddle a bit .

Wow though - looks incredible now .

What's your steering sensitivity? Lower the sensitivity bigger the deadzone.

I find this way too twitchy and sensitive on controller, you go to turn and straight in the wall you end up, even light touches in the steering send you spinning :( wanting to play until I get a wheel setup

Try using the analog stick held forward and move just a bit from there (while you still hold the analog stick forward), you not only will be able to turn just a little in case of need but will also be able to hold it at that angle for as much as you want/need and will also have much more precision and smoothness on your steering.

Still way to twitchy and sensitive for my liking unfortunately, guess i'll have to wait until I can afford my wheel setup :(
