Ive spent hrs messing with settings and it never feels right at all where as i can plug my controller in and its just perfect with no setup needed lol.
On my wheel the cars just slide like there on ice where as on controller i can turn and corner and it just turns and doesnt slide.
Slide is more the FFB is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the game no matter how i mess with it. 4hrs played and 4hrs just messing with settings and it always been the same. Even my mates said it sucks when they tried it aswell. ACC is perfect outa the box.
Im using a TX-Leather and ive looked up many setups and not 1 of them makes the game run smooth each setting just makes it still feel im either sliding on ice or the cars steering feels slow and unresponsive.
Nope i have not used any modded FFB files as ive not seen any mentioned. The only info ive found is different FFB settings to use and nothing ive tried makes it feel simish at all.
Having to mod a FFB into the game just proves that the FFB sucks and is a arcade game over a sim
I dont have any of the sims "out of the box" with FFB, including KartKraft, AMS2, rF2 and ACC, but I have these tweaked so I can have track details, grip levels and gradual grip gain/loss, weight transfer and wheels locking feeling with no FFB clipping and I dont use custom FFB for any sim.
Some sims have weaker or stronger FFB settings (where you may feel more or less of what the FFB can portray, maybe to the point you actually dont feel something).
I also know a friend with T300 that was using the manufacturer recommendations for FFB and he could not feel more than just vibrations and some "kind of" heavy feeling, until he gone against the recommendations and played more with the in-game FFB settings and had all the feeling and suddenly it became great FFB feeling for him, dont know if it is your case (of following strictly the manufacturer recommendations) or if you feel like trying any custom FFB file, as mentioned by DrGNOLA, but FFB to me at AMS2 feels almost like rF2 and ACC, having a stronger weight transfer feeling but that I would say is the major difference, everything else I am able to feel at AMS2 too as I can feel at the other sims I play.

but well, you say you are not even having FFB properly (while I dont have the same problem, but again, taste and expectancy, tho again I have kind of the same FFB at rF2 and ACC and I can relate driving experience/techniques from one to the other and back while learning and improving).
When I slide or spin, I know it was my mistake or me that am driving the car wrong (or just being plain bad with it), I also drive default setups for the most part (less when I am testing what setup changes do and the car reactions with the change or changes I made and also testing what I can make the car deliver with it).
