I am using the custom wheel profile and have manually assigned all controls, when it's possible to.
And just to confirm, when you are using "Custom Wheel" profile, when you configure everything only the H-Pattern gears are not saving?
Clear/save your configuration and start a new one. Don't configure sequential, ONLY configure the H-pattern and see if it saves (i.e. only configure ONE of the shifters).
FWIW, this title doesn't use the same game engine as AC, ACC or rF2 so it might be something that just won't work.
works fine with my Thrustmaster H shifter
If I recall correctly this was a problem with AMS 1 or certainly with the convoluted physical assignment method needed.
Anyway AMS 2 is in early access, maybe this will be cured I'll have to wait and see.
Thanks again.
I wonder if you had both of them connected through USB if that would work (since there it would see two true different devices). Something to check if you can.
Ultimately decided to refund but I'm sure I'll buy it again eventually once it develops into a mature/finished product (Automobilista 1 is one of my favourite sims).
Connecting both shifters through USB has done it, working fine now. Just had to re assign shifter mappings in the other sims. A small inconvenience to drive all cars in this great sim.
Yet again thank you for your help, you're a friggin champion mate!
