Even if you look at some of the older formula cars, the data isn't accurate yet. For a sequential car, there is no way to drop into neutral once the car is in running gears. If AMS2 allows that, that is completely wrong. You don't seem to understand development and how things work (i.e. not everything is where it should be right now).
What I'm suggesting is that one of two things is happening:
1. The car is configured for manual but the screen says sequential (this is what's happening with several cars). The screen needs to be updated for manual.
2. The car transmission hasn't been setup yet for the car since it's still EA.
I'm betting on the screen not being updated as several cars show sequential on the screen but they are not sequential cars (and there are other statistical data on the car screens that haven't been updated).
The issue is that you don't seem to understand that sometimes devs will just throw stuff on the screens as placeholder data during development. i.e. the text on the screen isn't that important until they get closer to released time so there is some incorrect screen information in their currently.
Even street cars can be shifted without a clutch if you can hit the right rpms:

You seem to believe a clutch is required for a manual car and that is not technically correct. So before you go around calling people "morons", you might make sure you have a basic understanding of mechanics.
If you change gears fast enough, you can grind gears in any car. Super V8 cars don't require a clutch to change gears. If you change gears fast enough you can get those to grind too.
It's not really about rev matching per say. It's the rpm is of the engine to match the drivetrain, but accounting for the rpm of the next gear (whether up or down). Depending on the car, drivers don't need to do much to "rev match" as the inertia of the engine and the drivetrain. It a lot more involved when calcuating the inertia loss based on the components (i.e. a heavier flywheel holds more inertia than a light one). An it's easier to accomplish on a race track than the street. Unless Reiza has made changes in this space, the Madness engine never simulated this well so you could get away with driving a manual like a sequential most of the time.
The other thing, we glossed over in this discussion. Technically, sequential doesn't necessarily equal clutchless. Sequential just means you cannot skip gears. For example, you can install a sequential shifter into a street car that is a manual, i.e. one of those rally style hand shifters. But that won't eliminate the need for a clutch.
With that, it's possible the Lance RS is "sequential" but not "clutchless".
Ok, you are going to have to point out the post where I used the term "idiot". I don't recall using that in this thread.
Now you're going to twist my words around again or assume something else.
Yep, which is against the Steam rules:

If you cannot have a discussion without resorting to name calling, why continue? Just move on and ignore the discussion.
I say one thing and you completely turn it around!!!!!! Good lord dude, I almost hope I get permanently banned so I don't have to read this backwards crap flying out your mouth.
