Folks might be able to help you better if you stated what you are using for controls.

AMS 2 brake isn't right, it's locking up way too easy still. Fired up DXTweak and it's locking at 40% input at times.

Everyone keeps talking about load cell brakes, don't press it that hard, etc etc. The problem is, the brake should simply not lock-up out of the box with only 40% braking input. Add a 15% brake deadzone, lower the sensitivity, and decrease brake pressure every time is not a permanent fix, it's a stupid workaround.

iRacing, rF2, AC, ACC, everything with the ABS off using the default car setup and the default pedal setting values, THE BRAKES DO NOT LOCK UP. This is SPECIFIC TO AMS 2. Only in AMS 2 does the brake lock-up so freaking dramatically easy and it's really annoying me and one of the reasons I don't play it much anymore. I'm sick of that damn brake. 80% brake pressure, 40% braking input, NO, THE BRAKE SHOULDN'T LOCK UP!

I agree with you 100%. Please fix the brakes devs!

Mate i have the same wheel and the crappy cheap pedals. I have my sensitivity at 35 and i get the odd lock up when i first drive a fast lap but it seems to improve once i do a couple of laps. I dont know if its just that muscle memory takes over and i am more delicate or if its once everything is up to temperature. I definitely feel like that after a couple of laps that i can be more aggressive with the brakes though

The T3PA pedals are good from thrustmaster but only on automobilista 2 have i brake problems i read what people write takes the brake on 10 sensivity and on setup to 60 thats is not normal when i drive assetto corsa competizione with 50 sensivity and 95 in game not problem or assetto corsa. I hope its to early and coming a update for the right brake. 👍🙏I love this game

Not all the cars are the same, say us what car are you driving for we to help you better, for me now the brakes still a bit of locking in some cars but much better now. I have the sensibility set to 35 when before in first versions i had it in 15 for the constant locking, now much better but i have de T3PA pedals in my T300 and the thing is much better installing the included brake mod, the conic one (our pedals dont have load cell so pedals work with travel not with pressure, you have to be carefull with the travel you do if you dont have the brake mod installed). otherwise, you can adjust brake pressure, i normally use 100 to 80 depending of the car, and most important, make sure you habe the brake balance well set to allow all 4 wheels locking at same time. Last you can try leaving a slight abs intromission if the car have it and you have the game in autentic driving assists

you can get a load cell kit for the T3PA or sell your T3PA pedals and upgrade to the T-LCM pedals, they have load cell brake, and better throttle and clutch hall effect pedals

I didnt talk about a load cell for t3pa, i dont know if is there are a thirt party loadcell mod for it, but i dont think it will worth it. i was talking about the 2 piece mod in t3pa is included in package (one metallic plate and a conical rubber piece you have to mount behind the pedal with another bolt, it has a bolt you can set the rubber nearer or far enought and lock it in a position you are pressing what you want to be the max before locking, is not a perfect solution but has no cost and works in most of the cases. T3PA for the price are not bad, the new one with load cell in brake ones by TM is well priced but i dont like they have inside platic supports like you can see in simracing garage review, if i were you i install the conical mod, but if you want something that worth to upgrade, for me is not one witch still have potenciometers like the TLCM or CSL Elites, i will be then with the Clubsport V3 but even with a far better quality cost more than your entire rim-base

the T-LCM does not use potentiometer's
it uses hall effect sensor's like the CS V3
