While track laying, the stock is consumed accordingly. This affects also stations. You get a notice when stock is low.
There is, as can be seen in the video.
There is also an old version of rail industry (not in the video).
The old one is for standard tracks, the new one for high speed.

Good idea. Planks for wooden sleepers and ConMAT for concrete sleepers.

As probably should a loco works, needing steel & wood to make the vehicles!
The mod is great, but such a feature should only be optional even it included in the vanilla game. Many of us are just looking for a straightforward Sandbox game afterall.
