change the timescale by clicking on the date.

It's been discussed before that there has to be more than one timescale or the technology would never progress.

If you click on the date bottom right you can reduce the advancement of the date to 1/4 the previous speed , or stop it entirely .

So I would stop it entirely and when you are ready to move forward to another year just move it up - or even set the date to 14/8/20 and play today with that date and move the date forward to 15/8/20 tomorrow.

That's an interesting point, I never considered jumping forward (or backwards?!) the date!.

Year is for visual purposes only. A combination of frequency and line rate is what the game is judging you for.

Nice that I don't have an answer to my question yet .. but I'm not talking about the date and time that you can advance, also that makes little sense and is far from realistic..where in the world do you see transport from your neighbors taking time for a month?

I think that is exactly what you are talking about . Suspending the forward advancement of date will switch all calculations to real time so instead of taking a month it may take two (real) minutes.
This is after all a game don't forget.

The explicit answer to your question is that this is the best way to handle the fact that you want dates to advance rapidly but not see vehicles moving at a frequency above that which can be recognised by eyes (or monitors)

The answer to your question is: it's a game, not a simulation of real life or anything close to being "realistic". Sometimes a trip takes a few minutes, sometimes a few days. "We" don't know the reason. Would a "Realistic Travel Time For Cars" mod help???

The point is, there's nothing you can do about it. The game is what it is.
Now what?

So someone feed his mouth for 5000,- month and I can drop the Game in the trash can?
Pak0tac Aug 15, 2020 @ 11:46am
the scale of the map doesnt allowe realisem
so if you are using metric system of kph for your transport, and make it realistic, you will have to make a map the size of earth, got it?

No I'm not trolling.. I know you can't handle the truth.!:steamhappy:
genemead Aug 17, 2020 @ 5:02am
The truth is nobody will play the game as you would like it programmed. I know I wouldn't. I ain't gonna live that long.

And TBH, after you (tried) to play it using a real-time time scale mod (IF there was one), you wouldn't like it either! Now that would make for a realistic, but very boring, game!!!

Wasn't it Mark Twain who said: "Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

Surely if you want a real-time experience of managing a transport company then a career change is in order?
