Reno to Carson city tutorial (or campaign)

I go for 1 train and three passenger carriages but it becomes wrong no matter what i do, i was about to get it right but it pulls out with just ONE passenger car attached to the locomotive so what did i miss? I just quit it and this is for the next time i play it, really frustrating.

I got it, it´s just that it can tend to take time for a task like this. Erase the thread i don´t dare to do since one game discussion moderator went ballistic on me for doing so.

I just went thru something similar. In my case, I clicked on the engine and one car and hit buy, then realized it said three cars, so I clicked on two more and hit buy. It treated them as two separate trains. Best way to do it is click Add for each item you need, then when all are present select Buy.

There's a graph of what your train will look like near the bottom of that dialog. Don't hit buy until that graph matches what you want.

Yeah yeah, i saw that graph later, good that. I sort of gawk still at everything going on and try to learn as i go, switching between first person view and an over head view, admiring all of the little details everywhere, there´s much more for sure to tinker with in this one.

Likewise. I just picked up the game on sale. I find most of the so called tips aren't very helpful.
