nVidia Statistics Overlay Not Showing Up In Game
I use nVidia's overlay features in my games, from recording gameplay, to figuring out if my CPU or GPU is holding my game back so I can adjust the settings accordingly. However, in TF2, I cannot get the statistics overlay (Alt+R) to show up at all, or even the main overlay (Alt+Z).

I was going to use it to see if my upgrade from an Intel i7-7700k to an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, as well as 16GB Ram to 32GB Ram, has made much of a difference. I used it in Starfield to discover that I was actually GPU limited as opposed to CPU limited like I initially thought. Don't get me wrong, the game does feel a lot smoother and with less hiccups on a Megalomaniac sized map, but I still want to check.

Thank you in advance :)

Hi, maybe the keyboard shortcuts got reset somehow? Can you get into the main settings interface? (it's Alt-1 for me)

Is Geforce Experience running and up-to-date? (I think it might need to be logged in too.)

The overlay works fine for me when in TpF2. As RadiKyle suggests, I would look into the keyboard shortcuts in use by the game. I've changed my statistics overlay away from the default Alt-R. (not sure if this was because of the same issue or not).

Cheers,
Chris.

I've changed my key schortcuts as well, as they conflicted with other things. (Actually I think my Alt-1 was originally Alt-Z?) I still use Alt-R for performance monitor tho and it still works okay.

Does the screencap work? My screencap is set as Alt-F1.
