Cargo transfer help
Hey, so this is the first time I've actually tried to do a line involving cargo transfer from trucks to a train and then back to a truck for final delivery. From what I've read, it should work fine, but for some reason it doesn't. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

The setup is this:

1. Truck station at a fuel refinery (that is also supplying another town)
2. From there it goes to a truck stop near a train station (yes it's in range and yes the station has a cargo building
3. A train is supposed to take the fuel to a station in another town (that also has a cargo building)
4. And, finally, there's another truck station at that train station (yes, in range) where trucks should load the fuel a deliver it to the industrial section of the town.

All the lines are created and populated with appropriate vehicles, yet the transfer doesn't work - the refinery won't supply fuel to it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Without pictures/video or the the save file we can only suggest you recheck the normal things, like range, vehicles are present and can carry the desired cargo, no improper filters.
By the way, a train station does not need a cargo building to accept cargo, it needs a cargo platform. A cargo platform present will add a cargo icon to the station, and if there is also a passenger platform present their will be 2 icons and you will have to be sure when setting up the line to click on the cargo icon of the station. No buildings need to exist on a train station at all.

upload your save file to the Workshop (using the in-game button in the load game menu) and share the link here, assuming you aren't using too many mods.

Is the refinery being supplied with oil? In regular gameplay, many industries need to be supplied raw materials before they start producing anything.

For example, crude oil > oil > fuel

This can be turned off by using the Sandbox mod and disabling "Input" in the desired industries, this will allow industries of choice to simply produce whatever goods of choice without any material requirements.

Ah, that was the problem, then. I thought a cargo building would be enough.
Anyway, I found an alternative solution with ships and that seems to work well (and is less complex), so I think I'm good. Thanks!
