Reims flight school - how?

Been trying to do the "Running a flight school" where you need to fly with 5 people.

I've tried to transport people from Reims and Paris near the Reims airfield.
I've tried to make the flight path from Reims to Paris and other cities.
I've tried to make the flight path only from Reims to Reims.

Still 0/5. Wat do.

I did it Reims with one stop only (so faulty line if you will) .

Ah yes. Now it works.

Basically you need a passanger. I didn't get any to spawn while I was writing this but now there are some.

I tried the same things. Reims to Reims. One station Reims only and Reims to other cities. None of them generate a passenger for the flight. Even after a full hour. I'm a bit stuck.

I built Bus Stations on opposite sides of town, added a few stops and a line, and then a bunch of buses. I also needed to add Paris as a stop for the flight. Then it finally worked.

It's not clear based on the previous flights, but they do hint about the Eiffel tower. I came here first though haha, so thanks

Let me guess; I need to shut down all my intercity rail for this to work, and have it go from Reims to Paris (Nope, that doesn't work either)

This makes zero sense to me, why would you want to do such a short hop? Surely Calais to Le Mans would make more sense, as I'm getting passengers for that fine

Edit: So here's what I've done;

- Sever ALL CONNECTIONS from Paris to Reims, that also means the roadways. They're gone

- The plane is set on a 2 stop line from Reims to Paris

- Both cities have commuter lines within them

No one wants to travel from Paris to Reims by plane it seems, even if they have no other choice
