Line manager
Is there a way to hide some lines while I'm creating new ones... I don't like to have these overlapping lines when I'm adding a new one.

eye icon is to only display the lines that are actually in your field of view... And when i don't want overlapping lines, it's because they are in my field of view :D

Yeah but when you have many lines it becomes difficult while it would be more simple to only have the line you're creating on screen ... That's why I made this thread ...

i think it would be neat to have a "line folder" for easy separation. I am playing a map i made with 3 Metropolitan areas,( clumps of 3 large cities with different goods requirements) each metropolitan area has over 50 lines dedicated to servicing it. It Would be handy if i could make a "metro 1" and "metro 2"ect folder

Yes. You can show only visible lines or search for a line.

+1 there needs to be an additional option. The one for lines in the field of view (the eye) isn't sufficient enough. An additional filter for "selected only" that hides all lines but the currently selected line, that you are working with, would make life so much easier.

There should be an option to turn off lines displayed on map in both the line manager and line statistics windows. (Preferably separate options in my opinion.)

It's not what I want... I know there is an eye icon to show only visible lines and a search engine to search for a line... I want a way to hide lines so that when I create a new one, I've no line in the way.

While I'm on the subject of the Line Statistics window. The key that opens the window should be a toggle. I.E. Press it once to open the window. Press it again to close the window. And this should apply to all windows that open with a hot key. This would make handling windows a lot easier (in my opinion).

Like a checkbox (as the vehicle manager has) to filter lines?

'L' is the default keybind for the Line Manager. Although, I prefer the other line window when pressing 'L'.

Yeah could be cool. Or when you create a new line, just open a single window and not the line manager.

The line manager works the way I want it to. L toggles the window open and closed.

But the line statistics window doesn't work that way. When you press F2 it opens the line statistics window. But when you press F2 again it doesn't close it. The happens with other windows similar to the line statistics window.
