Station upgrade?

Is there a way to upgrade a train station to have more/less tracks or upgrade it to be longer/shorter?

I have done that, but I don't see an option to add/reduce tracks or change station length.

The Configure button brings up the special station edit interface. You can add tracks (both width and length), platforms, buildings, etc., the same way you normally build anything else. You don't modify these things by just clicking buttons for "Yes I would like a 160m station with three tracks now please thank you," but by actually building the extra length and tracks manually.

Okay I understand now; its a more modular concept to upgrade. Thank you all for your answers.

Another question..... So if I want to upgrade to electrified tracks I have to delete the old ones and build new?

no same tool for track, but then click on station tracks.

use the "track modification tool" to electrify the line, you can do the same to upgrade to high speed track as well.
