Mexico. Alcohol /Silver spoons to export ?????

I have a problem (Again LOL)
In chapter 1, Mexico , you are asked to export Alcohol or silver spoons to the docks, after supplying the hotel and hospital.
My station platform transfers the goods to the nearby truck station and my wagons supply both
the Hospital and the Hotel. This part is OK.
The problem starts when I make a new line to the docks. Although my truck platforms near the station are full, the new wagons refuse to pick up any goods and deliver them to the new truck stop I set up within range of the docks.
If I stop the supply to the Hotel or Hospital the whole supply chain stops.
Any advice appreciated.

Stop supply to the hotel and hospital as it is no longer required then work on why the export line does not work . Are the docks highlighting when you click on the nearby truck stop.

You might need to run a few trucks on your new line to the docks before this new line starts to create demand

Yes, the docks are highlighted.
Trouble is. When I stop supplying the Hospital/Hotel all the Alcohol/spoons in the truck stop vanish into thin air.

Yeah you will need new spoons or alcohol . Don't worry that they go you have plenty of money.
Check on the factories to see if they have the docks as a live customer and are having orders allocated to them if so it will work , if not there will be an issue .

I am having this same issue, when I stop the old line, the spoons vanish into thin air. And afterwards, the factory stops making them even with a line highlighting the docks.

I actually stopped playing for a month because of this bug and just came back to it, and it isn't any different. This stuff is bonkers aggravating.

did you also setup your boat lines? (if that doesnt excist, nothing gets produced/shipped)

I had problems with this. The export port has two parts to it, the docks and the warehouse next door. Your freight terminal must be adjacent to the warehouse, or it will all go wrong.

So I figured out how to export the spoons. There is a dock yard on the far left side of Topolobampo. Setup a yard next to the factory with the Spoon. Set a new line from where your spoons are to the new yard.

My mistake was I built a new dockyard, dont do this, there is one already.

Ah! So you need to deliver spoons to the dock! I did it straight to export building by train and had 0 spoons all the time! Thanks!
