Changing the year on a custom map

So i just downloaded a few custom maps from the workshop, but i cannot figure out how to change the start date from 1850, there is no option to change?

Same question here. Also, how do I activate mods when using custom maps?

Enable the sandbox mode mod will change the year in game .

To activate mods press custom and settings on the same screen
