Erase the traces

Absolutely stuck on final task of Pacific Paradise campaign.

It seems like I've done literally everything to get this to 100%.
Deleted all roads I made, downgraded tram roads back to normal, got rid of all train tracks, deleted every single depot/bus stop/harbor etc and still only 62%, it's absolute bs.
Can't continue campaign now.
Why the devs thought this task was a good idea is beyond me, it literally stops you from doing campaign.

Anyone know a way to cheese it?

i think you need to destroy the hotel and hospital, i just started destroying everything and it completed when i got rid of some of those streets with the hotel and hospital

Erase the trace of the town being there. It'll progress before you get all of it, but just start bulldozing the town.

I think the reason behind deleting some of the town is it grows as you progress, and you have to "reset" it. Sorry people who live there and survived the mine collapse, only just thing to do is demolish your house now.

I just started going to town on the town with the bulldoze button. It finished the job. Silly. I was making decent profits. No reason to scorch earth everything.

I raised lots of mountains and hills in and around town, and dug the river and shorelines bit. Also planting trees around gave couple %.

I deleted every object I built. Including all transport infrastructure and vehicles. Lines, stops, way-points and anything that I constructed.

I only removed buildings. I wasn't deleting all of my work. That way I can come back and finish the town if I want.
