High Flyer - Chapter II Mission 10 Campaign

This mission has a bug in that the "Blockbuster" -> "Flying to the Hearing" can get stuck. To be exact, "Flying to the Hearing" asks you to sell a plane to get to Washington D.C. (From California). I sold all the planes I had flying, all the ones on the ground, bought new ones and sold them, none of those sells worked to satisfy "Flying to the Hearing".

I finally loaded back to previous saved game(auto) before I got that "flying to the hearing" quest and then immediately sold a plane in flight when the quest was received. That worked.

Definite bug.

Suspect bug trigger was because the first time I had a lot of planes already flying and I tried to create a new plane and sell a new plane first so as not to lose my existing in flight planes. Think the script expects you to sell an existing plane at the time the quest is started and tying to sell a new plane triggers the bug.

The exact text is to sell exactly one plane, that you already have. Not 10, and not a new plane. You'd normally want to sell an older plane anyway.

It's getting even worst in polish translation, it asks you to BUY the plane! I would never complete it without looking at your post, thanks.

Same mission different part, i cant seem to get the alcohol to the hotel, did you have an issue there, any idea thanks

I had the same problem, i SOLD all my plane and it work... In the french translation it demand to BUY a plane...

Spanish translation also demmand to "buy" a new plane.

I have that bug also. Selling a plane does nothing. Reloading an older save now. I'll see if that helps.

It also matters the type of plane. The plane has to be the first one in the list, specifically the one they count.

So I reloaded the game sold the plane that was on the top of my list in Bakersfield Airport and the game did register it this time.

Many thanks to this thread, it all made sense you had to send passengers to Washington, but this city does not exist, it makes no sense to sell a plane to be able to send passengers.

The Dutch translation in the game also says buy a plane not sell All your planes

If you're still facing this problem, try moving the station as close to the hotel as possible. Even if the hotel is highlighted in white, it might still not be close enough.
